  • The IRA charitable rollover has been extended by Congress until December 31, 2013. That provision allows tax-free distributions of up to $100,000 per taxpayer, per taxable year, to an eligible charitable organization, like Bozeman Area Community Foundation, from an IRA held by individuals age 70 ½ or older. Because the distribution goes directly to a qualified charity, the amount is not counted as income for the donor and not subject to income tax. Learn more about making a gift today!
