“In November 2009, the Bozeman Area Community Foundation’s board of directors adopted a new Vision Statement to carry the Foundation forward as it seeks to provide new services to Bozeman area nonprofit organizations and enhance its role in the community. During the summer of 2008, the Foundation’s Board of Directors began collaborating with Michael Schechtman, Executive Director of The Big Sky Institute for the Advancement of Nonprofits, to explore new ways for the Foundation to serve the greater Bozeman community. This self-examination and assessment process led to the Foundation’s new Vision Statement. The Foundation is pleased to share its new direction, and looks forward to developing more ways to serve the Bozeman community.
