On October 21, 2009, the Bozeman Area Community Foundation held its Annual Gathering at the Beall Center in downtown Bozeman. More than 40 nonprofits joined the Foundation’s board of directors for a potluck chili dinner. Mary Peterson, Executive Director of Bozeman-based Eagle Mount, provided a riveting presentation on “Raising Real Money: Recession or Not.” Prior to joining Eagle Mount in 2009, Mary raised money for Heart of the Valley, as well as the Museum of the Rockies, a nursing school and an international educational association.  She speaks often about fundraising and has even led workshops on four continents!
