Ways to Give
The Bozeman Area Community Foundation offers several ways to give to the projects and causes that make the Gallatin Valley unique. We accept gifts made by credit card, cash, and/or check. We can also accept gifts of marketable securities, bequests, charitable lead trusts, pooled income fund trusts, charitable life estate agreements, deferred charitable gift annuities and trusts, and paid-up insurance policies. The Bozeman Area Community Foundation raises both permanent endowments and current-use funds. Gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible.

Establish a Fund
With a minimum contribution of $25,000, you can establish a fund in the name of your family, your business, or anyone you wish to honor. Types of funds include: donor advised funds, field of interest funds, designated funds, memorial funds, and organization funds. Click here for more information on how to establish a fund.
Giving Through Estate Planning
Many donors give through bequests from their estate. Charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, remainder interests in real estate, and gifts of life insurance are among the most tax-effective ways to support the Community Foundation or to add to existing funds. Charitable remainder trusts have the added advantage of providing excellent income and tax benefits for the donor before their assets are turned over to charitable purposes.
