The Bozeman Area Community Foundation Board of Directors has temporarily suspended grant making from the Foundation's general fund in 2009. The Foundation's annual grant cycle will resume in the Fall of 2010. Please check back for further information.

Partner Charity

  • Liberty Place, Inc. - Encouraging individuals with brain injuries to reach their highest level of independence and to enhance the quality of their lives by giving them the "Freedom to Try".

Bozeman Area Charities

  • Reach, Inc. - A private, non-profit organization operating in Bozeman, Montana that began providing services in 1974 to adults with disabilities.
  • Conservation Land Network - Conservation Land Network is a partnership of brokers, land trusts, conservation groups, and scientists dedicated to protecting the ecological integrity of the Northern Rockies.
  • Montana Outdoor Science School - Since 1994 MOSS has been offering quality, hands-on education programs for youth and communities which promote an appreciation and understanding of the natural world.
  • Bozeman Senior Center - Provides a wide aray of educational, social, and health services for seniors over 50.
  • Bozeman Help Center - A 24 hour chrisis hotline as well as suicide and rape outreach.
  • Gallatin County Historical Society - Since 1977 they have been offering a variety of changing exhibits portraying the earlier days of Gallatin County.
  • Gallatin Valley Food Bank - Providing food for those in need.
  • Gallatin Valley Land Trust - Nonprofit membership organization dedicated to conservation of open space, agricultural land, wild life and public trail in and around Gallatin County.
  • Bozeman Public Library Foundation - Working to build and support a library for the twenty-first century in downtown Bozeman. Will be located adjacent to Lindley Park, and opening Fall 2005 for people of all ages.
  • Humane Society of Gallatin Valley - The Humane Society of Gallatin Valley strives to create a humane community by sheltering domestic animals in need; securing quality homes for domestic animals; abolishing pet overpopulation; promoting responsible pet ownership through education; and ultimately eliminating the needless suffering of all domestic animals.
  • Bridger Clinic - Provides quality reproductive healthcare and education that enhances understanding about sexuality and reproductive health for women and men of all ages with fees based on income.
  • Community Mediation Center - Trains volunteer mediators, coordinates public policy, provides family mediation and helps with other volunteer organizations in the Gallatin Valley.
  • Montana Ballet Company - Strives to produce and present high quality dance performances, provide educational outreach opportunities to underserved populations and prepare dedicated students for a professional dance carrier.
  • The Salvation Army - Nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting human needs in the name of Jesus Christ through family services, after school and day care programs and seasonal need help.
  • Heart of the Valley - A new and growing animal center in the Gallatin Valley, dedicated to create, strengthen and honor the Human-Animal bond through compassionate care and quality adoptions.
