Downtown Bozeman was packed with over 5,000 runners and spectators for this year’s Run to the Pub 10k and half marathon event on Saturday, March 15th. Nearly 2,700 runners crossed the finish line on Main St. in the rare sunshine of a March afternoon.
Runner’s World voted the Run to the Pub the number 2 “Best in the US” half marathon in the country! It isn’t an accident that this event has achieved such an honorable status. Since 2007, Pub 317 has been putting on a one-of-a-kind St. Patricks Day 10K and Half Marathon, attracting thousands of runners (and growing by 25%) each year.
Runners had the opportunity to donate to the Bozeman Area Community Foundation when they registered for the race. Additionally, part of the proceeds for this year’s Run to the Pub race benefited the Bozeman Area Community Foundation…for a total of $10,000! This money will be used to benefit our nonprofit community in our upcoming grant cycle!
Three cheers for all the volunteers who made this race possible!
